Nursing Supervisor

About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead the nursing team in the Riyadh Region. This full-time role involves overseeing daily nursing and personal care for clinic patients, ensuring adherence to individual needs and capabilities. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing comprehensive medical and nursing care, offering advice and emotional support to patients and their families, and managing administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the nursing team during assigned shifts, ensuring high standards of patient care.
• Provide medical and nursing care, including advice and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and hygiene guidelines and codes.
• Manage stock levels and readiness of medical equipment and consumable materials in clinics.
• Disinfect clinical surfaces and equipment at the start of the day and after each patient.
• Greet patients, take and document medical history, and screen for risks such as falls, nutritional deficiency, and functional impairment.
• Triage patients in the emergency room to categorize their emergency status.
• Perform minor wound dressings and monitor patients under observation.
• Prepare and administer intramuscular and intravenous medications under aseptic conditions.
• Escort patients in ambulances and assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Withdraw blood from patients for laboratory investigations in the emergency room.

Supervisory Duties

• Orient newly recruited nurses to the organization's policies and procedures.
• Ensure the daily availability of the required nursing workforce.
• Collaborate with the medical director to maintain and enhance the quality of patient care.
• Supervise the work performance of registered nurses.
• Conduct annual appraisals for nursing staff.
• Serve as a member of the community advisory committee.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in nursing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a nursing team effectively.
• Strong understanding and application of infection control and hygiene guidelines.
• Proficiency in medical and nursing care procedures.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Nahdi Medical Co. clinic environment. The role requires active participation in patient care and team supervision.
