About Squadio and the Role

Squadio is seeking a dedicated Odoo FrontEnd Developer to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time position involves designing, developing, and customizing front-end themes and modules for Odoo, ensuring solutions align with business requirements and best practices.

Role Purpose and Scope

The primary purpose of this role is to enhance the user experience and functionality of Odoo applications through expert front-end development. The developer will be responsible for creating responsive and dynamic user interfaces, collaborating with various technical and project teams, and optimizing web applications for performance and security within the Odoo ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize front-end themes and modules to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, back-end developers, and project managers, particularly during Odoo upgrade processes.
• Implement responsive and dynamic user interfaces, adhering to UX/UI best practices.
• Optimize web applications for performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and efficiently resolve front-end issues.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness for all developments.
• Stay informed about the latest Odoo Enterprise features and emerging front-end technologies.
• Customize QWeb and Dynamic reports within Odoo 18 Enterprise.
• Develop custom widgets proficiently using the latest Odoo framework.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of proven experience in Odoo front-end development.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, OWL (Odoo Web Library), and the latest Odoo library.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, AJAX, and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience in UI/UX principles and building user-friendly interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
