Officer Loss Prevention

About the Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Officer-Loss Prevention to join their team in Riyadh. This is a full-time, on-site, non-management position within the Loss Prevention & Security job category, focused on maintaining a secure environment and assisting guests and employees.

Security and Loss Prevention Responsibilities

• Patrol all property areas and provide assistance to guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire and life-safety systems, securing entrances as required.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and address identified safety hazards.
• Respond to accidents and emergencies, contacting EMS or administering first aid/CPR when necessary, and assisting guests and employees.
• Notify appropriate personnel of accidents, attacks, and incidents; de-escalate disturbances and request external assistance if needed.
• Complete incident reports, loss prevention shift summaries, or daily activity reports.
• Escort unwelcome individuals from the property and respond to vehicle accidents or thefts using proper code responses.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
• Maintain the confidentiality of security and property reports, releasing information only to authorized individuals.

Operational and Service Duties

• Adhere to company policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, complete required safety training, and protect company assets.
• Maintain a professional appearance, welcome guests, address service needs, handle complaints, and collaborate positively with colleagues.
• Prepare and review written documents accurately, utilizing computers or point-of-sale systems for information entry and retrieval.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• The role requires the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Physical tasks include moving quickly, lifting, carrying, reaching, and navigating stairs or uneven surfaces.
• The ability to handle objects and navigate confined or uneven spaces is also required.

Additional Responsibilities

The Officer-Loss Prevention will also perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
