About Oliver Wyman
Oliver Wyman is seeking an experienced professional to join our IMEA (India, Middle East, South Africa) Talent Management Team as a Partner Talent Management Lead. This full-time role can be based in our Dubai, Riyadh, or Doha office, with Riyadh being a primary location option.
Role Overview
The Partner Talent Management Lead works closely with the IMEA Executive Director of Talent, operating at the intersection of talent strategy, business growth, and regional leadership governance. This position is responsible for executing all talent processes within the region, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of partner review cycles, development plans, and related talent administration. The role is critical in shaping and executing the Partner talent architecture that drives firm performance, strengthens the leadership pipeline, and supports long-term growth. It requires strong stakeholder management skills and a trusted advisory presence with senior leadership, directly impacting the Partner pipeline, performance management, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end administration of the Partner Review Cycle (PRC) for the IMEA region, including timelines, logistics, materials preparation, pack consolidation, and meeting coordination.
- Act as a career advisor for Partners, providing clarity on career and growth plans within the firm.
- Maintain and validate partner performance and talent data; prepare summary reports and operational dashboards for leadership.
- Collaborate with the Partner Development Council (PDC), Learning & Development teams, and the ED of Talent for IMEA to design and deliver tailored Partner development programs.
- Lead the regional coordination and operational execution of the Partner Review Committee (PRC) process, ensuring rigorous candidate identification and compelling business case development.
- Manage the end-to-end execution and integrity of Partner performance management processes, including mid-year feedback, year-end reviews, and objective-setting.
- Manage Partner watchlists, mutual departure discussions, and Focused Development Plans (FDPs) in close partnership with relevant leadership.
- Support local HC and regional leadership in managing Partner exits and alternative pathways.
- Oversee the onboarding and integration experience for new external Partners and newly promoted Partners, proactively monitoring progress and recommending timely interventions.
- Provide hands-on operational support to ensure seamless transitions for new Partners.
- Collaborate with the Head of Recruiting in IMEA by creating an open feedback loop on Partner candidates and evaluating recruitment outcomes.
- Provide timely input on Partner employment relations matters, including exit negotiations and conflict resolution.
- Prepare and present data-driven reports and insights on Partner performance and talent management metrics to the IMEA Management Committee.
- Maintain rigorous operational standards and accountability in talent processes to ensure fairness, consistency, and transparency.
Required Experience and Attributes
- 7+ years of experience in partner-level talent strategy, talent operations, performance management, and coaching within professional services or consulting firms.
- Strong business acumen and partnership capabilities, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
- Highly analytical individual proficient in Excel, capable of analyzing datasets relating to Partner performance.
- Proven ability to develop and execute senior-level talent strategies aligned with regional business priorities and growth objectives.
- Trusted advisor to senior leadership, skilled at influencing and building strong, collaborative relationships and networks.
- Experience in managing senior-level talent pipelines, succession planning, and mitigating attrition risks.
- Experienced in leading performance review committees and rigorous performance evaluation processes.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, accomplished in consensus building and adapting style across diverse audiences.
- Operational and client service excellence with an ownership mindset.
- Excellent project management skills to coordinate complex talent processes and cross-functional initiatives.
- Collaborative leader with experience working across regions and functions to share best practices and drive consistency.
- Experience leveraging external benchmarking to inform talent strategy.
- Comfortable working independently and thriving in a team setting within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong advocate for Partner talent strategies that drive business growth and organizational health.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position within Oliver Wyman's IMEA Talent Management Team. The role offers flexibility to be based out of our Dubai, Riyadh, or Doha office.
