Operations Engineer

About the Role

DAMAC Digital is seeking an Operations Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves ensuring the continuous availability and reliability of critical data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in a related field, focusing on the operational management and maintenance of MEP systems within a data center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor critical data center MEP systems to ensure 24/7 availability and reliability.
• Manage the operation and maintenance of UPS, generators, MV/LV systems, switchgear, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, pumps, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Monitor BMS/EPMS/DCIM systems and respond to alarms and incidents.
• Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Method of Procedures (MOPs), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs), Permit-to-Work (PTW), and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for maintenance activities and breakdown resolution.
• Support emergency response, incident management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and data center operational standards.

Candidate Requirements

• 5-10 years of professional experience in data center operations or a similar critical infrastructure environment.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment to support continuous operations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring a commitment to maintaining high operational standards in a dynamic data center setting. The role involves working within a shift schedule to ensure continuous coverage and support for critical systems.
