About the Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch - J02 is seeking an Operations Executive, Amazon Now, to join the Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) operations team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves contributing to the design and launch of new business models across AMET, focusing on redefining fast delivery services and managing 3P Store Operations.

Role Context

The Operations Executive will be part of a team responsible for building and running new services for customers. This position ensures that Amazon policies, including attendance tracking, are implemented and administered consistently. The role involves motivating, coaching, reporting on, and providing feedback regarding associate performance, covering productivity, quality, and safety to meet or exceed Amazon expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily end-to-end last-mile operations for one large site or a combination of smaller sites, supervising last-mile dispatch operations.
• Meet customer-facing metrics while maintaining operational and cost targets, and upholding team safety and morale.
• Drive performance management for team members and DSP partners.
• Prepare and implement training and development plans for Delivery Associates (DAs).
• Collaborate with DSPs to continuously improve operational processes and achieve sustained performance improvement.
• Conduct 4M / 5S and Safety GEMBA audits for stores on a daily basis.
• Act as a stand-in for the Area Manager when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in operations or a related field.
• A strong record of achieving results in previous roles.
• Ability to implement and administer policies fairly and consistently.
• Experience in motivating, coaching, and providing performance feedback.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh and is part of a newly formed organization focused on Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) operations. The position requires active involvement in daily last-mile operations and collaboration with various teams and partners.
