The Role of Operations & Maintenance & Handover Manager Rail

Egis is seeking an Operations & Maintenance & Handover Manager Rail to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading the operational, maintenance, and handover processes for rail infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, optimising asset performance, and facilitating seamless transitions for rail systems and facilities, aligning with Egis's commitment to intelligent infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations and maintenance activities for rail infrastructure, ensuring adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence.
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance programmes to optimise asset performance and minimise downtime.
• Lead and manage handover processes for rail systems, assets, and facilities, ensuring seamless transitions and thorough documentation.
• Direct and mentor maintenance teams, providing guidance on technical procedures, safety protocols, and performance expectations.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance and operational tasks.
• Establish and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, asset conditions, and handover documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Manage stakeholder communications regarding operational status, maintenance schedules, and handover milestones.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian rail regulations, industry standards, and organisational policies.
• Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance operations and resource allocation.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for operational and maintenance-related challenges.
• Facilitate induction and training programmes for new operational and maintenance personnel.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Proven experience managing asset handovers and transition projects.
• Strong people management and team leadership skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of rail infrastructure systems and maintenance protocols.
• Excellent organisational and time-keeping abilities.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to effectively manage operations, maintenance, and handover activities for rail projects within the region.
