The Role of Operations Manager, ABB Academy

This full-time position is for an Operations Manager at the ABB Academy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the Academy, overseeing the entire learning operation from end-to-end. This includes managing cohorts, trainers, curriculum readiness, learners, visitors, facilities, systems, safety, and compliance. This is a hands-on role within a newly established academy, requiring the individual to build operations from the ground up by setting up processes, systems, and routines, documenting them as standard operating procedures, and working directly on delivery alongside the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall Academy operations, ensuring excellence in Care, Customer, Cost, and Cash performance, while driving customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and operational reporting.
• Manage end-to-end training delivery, including annual training planning, cohort lifecycle management, learner experience, capacity utilization, and customer retention.
• Oversee trainer management and development, including trainer coordination, credential management, Train-the-Trainer programs, and team coaching and performance support.
• Ensure curriculum quality, accreditation, and compliance, managing content partners, course readiness, curriculum control, LMS administration, audit readiness, and HSE standards.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and value chain performance, leading customer interactions, events, enrollment processes, KPI monitoring, operational risk management, and continuous value chain improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
