About the Role: Operations Supervisor, AMET Operations

Amazon Saudi Arabia (ex-Souq) is seeking a full-time Operations Supervisor for its AMET Operations in Riyadh. This role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on motivating a team to meet productivity expectations and performance targets. The supervisor will be responsible for tracking team attendance and workflow, and collaborating with the Shift Manager to promptly address operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily management of departmental duties.
  • Assign work to associates as required to support workflow and daily production KPIs/goals.
  • Conduct standup briefs, deliver associate feedback, perform floor audits, and conduct vehicle inspections.
  • Assist in training and up-skilling new associates.
  • Support the tracking, trending, and reporting of departmental metrics by associates.
  • Assist in analyzing and understanding the reasons behind success and failure in meeting departmental delivery and FC KPIs/goals.
  • Track, report, and maintain hours and schedules.
  • Review and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents as required.
  • Improve the flow of product through the station.
  • Identify and address safety hazards within the workplace and participate in safety initiatives.
  • Fully understand workflow, daily production goals, and the number of Associates present each day.

As an Operations Supervisor, candidates are expected to demonstrate strong leadership and operational capabilities, including:

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Capable of lifting up to 49 pounds, standing/walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Work Environment and Schedule

This full-time position requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability to work weekends and provide overtime support for both AM and PM shifts. Candidates must be willing to work flexible schedules/shifts, which may include night shifts, within a dynamic operational environment. The role involves physical demands such as lifting, prolonged standing and walking, and frequent physical movements throughout shifts.
