About the Operations Supervisor Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking a full-time Operations Supervisor in Riyadh. This role involves leading and motivating a team to meet productivity expectations and company goals. The supervisor will be responsible for tracking team attendance and workflow, and will collaborate with the Shift Manager to identify and resolve operational issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily management of department duties.
  • Assign work to associates as required to support workflow and daily production KPIs/goals.
  • Conduct stand-up briefs, deliver associate feedback, and perform floor audits and vehicle inspections.
  • Assist in training and up-skilling new associates.
  • Support with tracking, trending, and reporting of departmental metrics.
  • Aid in analyzing and understanding the reasons behind success and failure in meeting departmental delivery and FC KPIs/goals.
  • Track, report, and maintain associate hours and schedules.
  • Review and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents as required.
  • Improve the flow of product through the station.
  • Identify and address safety hazards within the workplace and participate in safety initiatives.
  • Maintain a full understanding of workflow, daily production goals, and the number of associates present each day.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Work Environment and Schedule

This full-time position requires the ability to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed. Candidates must be willing to work flexible schedules and shifts, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays, and provide overtime support for both AM and PM shifts.
