Afaq - Warehouse Branch is expanding its operations team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage shift operations within our logistics network. This full-time role is integral to ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently through our fulfillment centers, sortation centers, or delivery stations.

Role Overview

The Operations Supervisor drives daily operational performance by overseeing shift management. This position plays a key role in the logistics chain, from initial fulfillment to final delivery, ensuring that customer orders reach their destination effectively and on schedule. The role requires a commitment to operational excellence and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain a safe working environment by identifying and addressing safety opportunities.
• Manage and train Associates to ensure high service standards for customers.
• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled in adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
• Provide critical shift-related information to frontline management and operators.
• Adjust labor allocation throughout shifts to meet and exceed operational plans and forecasts.
• Engage with support functions and other departments to resolve common issues in areas such as process readiness, 5S, safety, and training.
• Contribute to solving logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation, and process optimization.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a high level of ownership, and a commitment to leading by example. This role requires the ability to develop expertise in all operational processes, analyze data, and motivate team members. A consistent customer-centric approach to decision-making is essential.

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, holidays, and variable shifts/work areas.
• Capable of lifting up to 49 pounds, standing/walking for shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
• 0-1 year of relevant experience.

This position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working in a dynamic logistics environment that requires adaptability to varying schedules, including night shifts and overtime as needed.
