About the Role

W Hotels is seeking a Full-time Operator-Room Service to join its team in Riyadh. This role is responsible for managing room service orders, addressing guest inquiries, and ensuring efficient service delivery. The Operator-Room Service serves as a key point of contact for guests, requiring clear communication and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately process room service orders taken over the phone.
• Answer guest questions regarding menu selections and consult with kitchen staff as necessary.
• Provide information to guests concerning the origin, vintage, and style of various wines.
• Place and log call-backs for room service orders to ensure follow-up.
• Communicate specific meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen team.
• Notify guests and management promptly of any delays in service delivery.

Operational Duties and Standards

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the day.
• Record all transactions accurately in the MICROS system at the time of order.
• Complete all required closing reports, including MICROS reports, at the end of the shift.
• Process all payment methods efficiently and securely.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Guest and Team Interaction

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and express genuine appreciation to guests.
• Communicate using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team to achieve common goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and service standards in all interactions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or *** equivalent is required.
• No prior related work experience is necessary (0-1 years experience).
• No supervisory experience is required for this position.
• No specific license or certification is required.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
