About NTU International and the Project

NTU International A/S is currently preparing a proposal for the project "Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf". In support of this initiative, NTU International is establishing a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts, including Senior and Junior roles, to be engaged on a short-term, on-demand basis throughout the 36-month project implementation period. This project aims to provide strategic, technical, and logistical communication support to DG MENA.

Role Overview: Opinion Survey Analyst

We are seeking an Opinion Survey Analyst to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This part-time position is crucial for strengthening the visibility, outreach, and impact of the European Union's policies, initiatives, and partnerships across the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf region. The analyst will contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of day-to-day communication activities.

Core Responsibilities

• Design quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including opinion surveys and focus groups.
• Develop questionnaires, discussion guides, and sampling approaches.
• Analyze survey data and focus group findings to identify trends, perceptions, and communication opportunities.
• Prepare analytical reports, presentations, and evidence-based recommendations.
• Support audience segmentation and behavioral insights for communication campaigns.
• Advise on research methodologies, data quality, and interpretation of findings.
• Present research results to project teams, DG MENA, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute research insights to communication strategies, campaign development, and policy outreach activities.

Essential Qualifications

• A degree in statistics, social sciences, or market research is required.
• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of overall professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of general experience in survey and opinion research.

Specific Experience and Desired Attributes

• At least 3 years of specific experience in designing and analyzing surveys and focus groups.
• Regional research experience within North Africa, the Middle East, or the Gulf is considered an asset.
