About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton is seeking a dedicated Order Taker for its In-Room Dining department. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and is open to Saudi Nationals with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process room service orders accurately over the phone.
• Provide detailed information on menu selections and consult with kitchen staff as needed.
• Answer guest inquiries regarding wine origin, vintage, and style.
• Log and confirm room service orders, including placing call-back information.
• Communicate any service delays to guests and management.
• Relay specific meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
• Record all transactions in the MICROS system at the time of order.
• Complete all required closing reports, including MICROS reports.
• Process all accepted payment methods.

Professional Conduct and Guest Service

Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to safety and security, reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional at all times. Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities. Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests, using appropriate telephone etiquette. Foster positive working relationships and support team goals while ensuring adherence to quality expectations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• No prior related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is necessary.
• No specific licenses or certifications are mandated for this role.

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The role involves direct interaction with guests and requires adherence to company standards for service and presentation.

Additional Duties

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors to support departmental operations.
