About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Registrar to join its dedicated team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for medical professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and illnesses within the orthopedic surgery department. The Registrar is integral to patient care, encompassing examination, treatment planning, and patient education.

Core Clinical Responsibilities

  • Examine patients, take comprehensive medical histories, and accurately document all findings.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to guide patient management.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and develop individualized patient care plans.
  • Educate patients thoroughly on their health conditions, necessary investigations, available treatment options, and proper medication use.
  • Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare measures relevant to their specific cases.
  • Fulfill all administrative and clinical obligations related to maintaining patient records.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Adhere strictly to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures, Bylaws, Strategic Plan, and Rules & Regulations.
  • Comply with the mission, vision, goals, and established practice guidelines of NCC.
  • Ensure adherence to CBAHI standards of care and actively participate in continuous quality improvement activities and program evaluations.
  • Integrate evidence-based practices and consider population factors such as heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.
  • Complete all mandatory fire safety requirements and comply with clinical and departmental structure standards, including attendance.

Professional Development and Collaboration

  • Actively participate in all assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
  • Contribute to the continuous professional development of all junior staff members.
  • Develop, participate in, and support active Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs for the Section, Department, or Clinic, as assigned by the chairman, which may include rounds, conferences, lectures, and journal clubs.
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with other departments within NCC, local agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.

Qualifications and Specialty Privileges

Candidates for the Orthopedic Surgery Registrar position should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant medical field. Specific privileges will be granted based on the individual's training, demonstrated experience, skills, and in accordance with the guidelines established by the Saudi Health Council. The role may also involve performing additional tasks based on specialty and clinical privileges.
