About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician Technologist Senior to join their dedicated team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to delivering high-quality physical therapy services. The role focuses on helping individuals recover or improve function after injury or illness, aiming to enhance their overall quality of life.

Patient Care and Treatment Philosophy

The primary objective of this role is to provide comprehensive physical therapy to patients, facilitating their recovery and functional improvement. This involves evaluating patient conditions thoroughly and developing individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans. The ultimate goal is to develop, maintain, and restore maximum movement and functional ability, thereby maximizing the patient's quality of life through evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases, to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
• Review physician's referrals (prescriptions) and patient's condition and medical records to determine the required physical therapy treatment.
• Test and measure patient's strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency, recording findings to develop or revise treatment programs.
• Prepare written treatment programs based on the evaluation of patient data.
• Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advances in physical therapy, utilizing evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Administer treatments involving the application of physical agents, using equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, whirlpool baths, moist packs, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, and ultrasound machines.
• Evaluate the effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
• Record treatment details, patient response, and progress in the patient's chart or enter information into the computer system.
• Instruct patients and their families in treatment procedures to be continued at home.
• Confer with physicians and other practitioners to obtain additional patient information, suggest revisions in treatment programs, and integrate physical therapy with other aspects of patient's health care.
• Orient, instruct, and direct the work activities of assistants and aides.
• Perform other position-related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting, and ensure proper handovers during absenteeism.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a current license to practice Physical Therapy.
• 0-1 years of relevant professional experience.
