About the Role

Saudi Pan Kingdom Company - SAPAC is seeking a Planning Manager Roads & Infrastructure to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring the efficient management and successful execution of roads and infrastructure projects. The Planning Manager will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, coordinating resources, and overseeing the scheduling and progress of construction activities.

Role Overview

The Planning Manager plays a pivotal role in project management within the roads and infrastructure sector. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure project objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting, to ensure timely completion of construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and develop a clear understanding of project objectives.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, identify potential issues, and develop action plans to mitigate risks and ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Monitor and analyze project schedules and budgets, identifying deviations and implementing corrective measures as necessary to maintain project timelines and financial targets.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for construction activities, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing project delays.
  • Utilize project management software and tools to track project progress, update schedules, and generate reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the planning team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in planning and project management, specifically within roads and infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
