Senior Planning Manager

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires a strong background in project planning and scheduling, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the field.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The Senior Planning Manager will be responsible for understanding planning requirements for operational readiness and establishing critical path activities across various project phases. This includes procurement, design, technology, delivery, facilities maintenance, tenant fit-out, testing & commissioning, and handover activities for operational facilities preparing to open to the public.

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with all departments of client organizations, project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans and schedules as necessary.
• Prepare and present project planning reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines.
• Mentor and develop planning staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Utilize project management software and tools to track and report on project status.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during project planning and execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Strong background in project planning and scheduling.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Experience with planning for Operational Readiness.
• Master’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
