The Role of Planning Manager

Parsons is seeking a Planning Manager to lead planning and scheduling efforts for a high-profile building project in Qiddiya, Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring significant experience in PMC and construction supervision, along with a deep understanding of project planning methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and provide detailed comments on contractor's programs and reports.
• Prepare programs and chair workshops with contractors to guide them in achieving baseline acceptance, schedule monitoring, and reporting requirements.
• Review and verify contractor's daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Prepare regular reports for the Employer and corporate management, including presentations to executive management.
• Participate in the preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Verify contractor's progress against approved Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).
• Follow up on contractor site progress and report any deviations from the approved baseline.
• Confirm daily report data.
• Analyze and report on contractor delay claims.
• Verify progress through site inspections as required.
• Attend and contribute to meetings, including progress, commercial, and project controls, and chair meetings as needed.
• Prepare or review meeting minutes as required.
• Mentor Parsons and contractor staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning.
• Significant experience in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) and construction supervision.
• Deep understanding of project planning methodologies.

Work Location

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting a project in Qiddiya.
