Plumber

About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Plumber to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves maintaining and repairing plumbing systems, ensuring all installations and repairs meet established standards. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Fix minor plumbing issues, including unclogging drains.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings accurately.
• Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air to detect and locate leaks.
• Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to plan installations.
• Study building plans and inspect structures to ensure proper installation planning.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required angles.
• Install and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures.
• Perform various minor repairs as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.

Operational and Safety Compliance

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and anticipate service needs.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance.
• Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing over 100 pounds.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move up and down a ladder.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
