Plumber

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Plumber to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in plumbing and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining plumbing systems and ensuring the smooth operation of facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Address minor plumbing issues, including unclogging drains.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings as required.
• Conduct water or air pressure tests on pipes and fixtures to identify and locate leaks.
• Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to plan installations.
• Study building plans and inspect structures to effectively plan plumbing installations.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the necessary angles.
• Install and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures.
• Perform various minor repairs as needed.
• Execute preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.

Operational Compliance and Safety

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Ensure the confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Guest Service and Teamwork

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs proactively.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance.
• Capable of assisting with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing over 100 pounds.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of various sizes and weights.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Comfortable moving up and down a ladder.
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

Additional Duties

The Plumber will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors, contributing to the overall efficiency and maintenance of the facilities.
