Ecolab is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to the successful execution of advanced water treatment projects at customer locations across the region.

The Role of Senior Project Engineer

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the comprehensive erection and commissioning (site execution) of advanced membrane (UF) systems. This includes all associated electro-mechanical equipment, instruments, Motor Control Centers (MCC), and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) plants at customer sites within Saudi Arabia, specifically in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the erection and commissioning (site execution) of advanced membrane (UF) systems, including electro-mechanical equipment, instruments, MCC, and PLC plants at customer locations.
• Manage all site activities for projects independently, ensuring completion within established timelines.
• Interpret and execute work based on engineering drawings and operational manuals.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance aspects of water and wastewater projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for site management and customer interaction.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in project engineering, specifically with water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Thorough knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation aspects related to the installation and commissioning of Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP).
• Demonstrated in-depth process knowledge of WTP, WWTP, and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).
• Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of plant automation systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA) and programming is desirable.
