We are seeking a Pricing Specialist Orthopedics to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The Pricing Specialist provides strategic support and guidance to the business regarding pricing priorities. This role is instrumental in driving value-based pricing, maximizing the value of innovation, and managing all pricing-related tasks within the Orthopedics segment.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with business partners to provide support and guidance on strategic pricing priorities, focusing on value-based pricing and maximizing innovation value.
• Support the Pricing Lead in multi-factor pricing analysis to identify and monitor trends, root causes of profitability leaks or price erosion, and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Marketing Teams for tender quotations, ensuring accurate code configuration for tenders.
• Analyze tender quotation prices and profitability, review outcomes through win/loss reviews and pricing simulations, and debrief to build tender intelligence for increased future success rates.
• Drive price escalations according to guidelines, supporting discussions with detailed price analysis considering key performance measures.
• Provide price change simulations during the Product List (PL) update process to optimize Sales Gross Profit (SGP) through price, volume, and mix adjustments.
• Support pricing trainings to enhance the skills of the Sales & Marketing team, influencing price decision-making in line with strategic priorities, improving product value understanding, and supporting correct product positioning and segmentation.
• Continuously improve pricing reporting and analytics, including creating and maintaining advanced pricing dashboards.
• Lead or support key projects related to Pricing & Tenders as needed.

Pricing Governance and Data Management

• Ensure adherence to local and EMEA pricing governance guidelines.
• Maintain continuity, accuracy, and timeliness of monthly Pricing Reports and Business Reviews.
• Support the business by identifying opportunities to drive a better product mix to improve profitability.
• Ensure the Product database and Price list are accurate and aligned with Regulatory inputs.
• Manage Cignon Product List approvals in a timely manner, ensuring prices are set within established pricing guidelines.
• Ensure Pricing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are kept up to date.
• Implement and document compliant pricing processes and SOX controls as per requirements.
• Observe and promote all regulatory requirements defined by applicable regulations, rules, and company procedures, reporting any violations or deviations.
• Comply with personal training requirements to perform job duties effectively.

Candidate Profile and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a related commercial function, preferably within the medical technology or healthcare industry. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various business functions to achieve strategic pricing objectives.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with activities potentially extending to Jeddah. The role operates within a dynamic and innovative environment focused on advancing healthcare solutions.
