The company connects merchants with licensed delivery operators through a single platform, offering direct technical integration, prepaid accounts, transparent pricing, and agreed-upon service levels that are reported monthly. SHIFTER operates without owning a fleet or employing drivers.

The Role of Pricing Specialist

The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for SHIFTER's revenue generation, encompassing the products and packages offered to merchants and delivery operators, their underlying rate cards, and the margin on each order. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and reports directly to the CEO, involving daily collaboration with sales, operations, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage merchant and operator rate cards, including distance bands, extra-kilometre fees, and operator payouts, modeling the margin impact of proposed changes.
• Design and maintain SHIFTER's packages for various merchant segments (restaurants, health and beauty, retail and e-commerce, B2B), ensuring clear inclusions and limits.
• Approve or reject non-standard discounts or commercial offers from sales based on a written pricing policy, ensuring no off-policy deals are signed without review.
• Develop and manage the unit-economics model, covering revenue, operator cost, payment fees, and contribution margin per order, zone, and account.
• Monitor price realization, margin, win/loss rates, and churn by package monthly, providing data-driven recommendations for adjustments.
• Benchmark competitor delivery pricing in Riyadh quarterly and brief management on market threats and opportunities.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to ensure pricing rules are configurable and auditable within the platform.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role requires a strong analytical background and the ability to work with complex financial models and data.
