The Role of Private Market Investment Manager

As a Private Market Investment Manager based in Riyadh, you will support the implementation of Arab Invest's private market investment strategy. This full-time role involves sourcing, evaluating, and executing selected transactions across various alternative investment asset classes. You will report to the Director of Private Markets and contribute to portfolio companies' value creation initiatives while mentoring junior investment professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor market, macroeconomic, and private equity/private credit industry developments in the Arab World and globally.
• Source and screen direct and fund investment opportunities.
• Lead financial, commercial, and valuation analysis for complex transactions.
• Manage end-to-end due diligence processes.
• Develop investment theses, structure transactions, and negotiate terms and definitive documentation.
• Prepare high-quality investment memoranda and present recommendations to internal committees.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investment partners, co-investors, advisors, and market participants.
• Oversee portfolio management activities, including financial performance monitoring, governance participation, and value creation initiatives.
• Support portfolio companies through strategic oversight and board-level engagement where applicable.
• Contribute to exit planning for portfolio companies.
• Mentor and review the work of analysts and senior analysts, ensuring analytical rigor and professional development.
• Contribute to departmental policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in private market investments. The position requires a professional who can lead complex transactions and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
