About Awqaf Investment

Awqaf Investment is seeking a Procurement And Contracts Associate to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for managing daily operational activities related to procurement and contracts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Role Purpose

The Procurement And Contracts Associate is responsible for monitoring requirements for goods and services, supporting the team, and leading daily procurement activities. This role ensures a consistent approach to sourcing, procurement, and supplier contract management for Awqaf Investment and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all procurement activities and provide guidance to the procurement team.
  • Communicate with management to understand requirements and implement requests.
  • Ensure purchasing priorities align with business objectives by adjusting decision criteria and providing feedback on products/services and market pricing.
  • Manage all stakeholder communications related to procurement activities, including internal and external parties.
  • Assist in developing and updating organizational policies, standards, rules, and procedures for cost-effective procurement operations.
  • Support the development and update of standard documentation and contracts.
  • Conduct sourcing activities, including researching and identifying potential suppliers and performing supplier evaluations.
  • Perform pre-contract activities, such as drafting/reviewing terms and conditions, and formulating tendering strategies.
  • Prepare and manage tenders for bids.
  • Negotiate with and develop relationships with current and potential contractors and vendors to optimize price and quality.
  • Obtain and evaluate quotations/proposals during the tendering process.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
  • Process purchase orders and related documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with procurement procedures.
  • Monitor and control spending against approved purchase orders.
  • Report on all activities based on approved department KPIs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in procurement and contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage daily operational activities and support team functions.
  • Experience in sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract management.
  • Proficiency in preparing and managing tenders and negotiating with vendors.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring active participation in a dynamic procurement and contracts team.
