Procurement Engineer / Saudi

About the Role

Esnad Contracting is seeking to hire three Procurement Engineers to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing the procurement process for various engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements. The company is specifically looking for one Mechanical, one Electrical, and one Civil Procurement Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of engineering materials, equipment, spare parts, and technical services.
• Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and conduct technical and commercial evaluations of supplier quotations.
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating prices and commercial terms.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and material requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
• Coordinate effectively with Engineering, Projects, Quality, Warehouse, and Finance teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience, with up to 10 years, in procurement, preferably within construction or engineering projects.
• Good knowledge of engineering materials, equipment, and supplier management practices.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Good command of English.
• Experience with ERP/SAP systems is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Esnad Contracting team. The role requires coordination across multiple departments to ensure efficient procurement operations for various projects.
