The company aims to create flexible, connected living experiences that foster genuine community and deliver value to its residents.
Flow's mission centers on oneness, prioritizing resident experiences and fostering connections among individuals, their neighbors, and the natural environment. By placing people at the core of its operations, Flow develops human-centered communities where life, work, creativity, and leisure converge.
Role Overview: Procurement Engineer
Flow is seeking a Procurement Engineer to establish and manage the company's procurement function across its Saudi Arabian portfolio. This individual contributor role will initially focus on FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), facilities, and operational supplies for residential communities in Riyadh. Reporting to the Head of Program Design & Development, MENA - Physical Delivery, this is a hands-on, KSA-based position that integrates strategic sourcing, vendor management, cost control, and execution. The Procurement Engineer is accountable for ensuring that products are sourced at the correct quality and cost, and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement for FF&E, facilities, and operational categories within KSA, ensuring consistent adherence to quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier network across KSA, including negotiation of pricing, contracts, commercial terms, and service levels.
- Lead RFQ and competitive bidding processes, conduct supplier evaluations, and perform regular performance reviews with key partners.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate procurement documentation, such as Purchase Orders (POs), contracts, invoices, vendor records, order acknowledgements, and freight documentation.
- Oversee purchasing workflows from initial request through delivery, collaborating closely with the Design & Development, Facilities, Operations, and Finance teams.
- Ensure accurate ERP records for orders, costs, receipts, inventory, and all related procurement data.
- Monitor KSA market pricing, supply conditions, and vendor performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply risks.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, including SASO standards, VAT documentation, Saudization (Nitaqat) obligations, and import requirements.
- Anticipate supply needs, identify potential disruptions proactively, and develop alternative sourcing solutions.
- Continuously enhance procurement processes, reporting mechanisms, systems, and controls as Flow expands.
Required Attributes
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:
- Proactive and Results-Oriented: Takes initiative, solves problems, and drives outcomes independently.
- Ownership: Anticipates needs and assumes full accountability from the initial request to final delivery.
- High Standards: Maintains zero tolerance for incomplete records, inaccurate documentation, or unresolved purchase orders.
- Commercial Instinct: Possesses strong negotiation skills, exercises prudent spending, and understands the balance between quality and cost.
- Operational Discipline: Establishes structure, maintains accurate data, and manages multiple procurement streams efficiently.
- Team Enabler: Facilitates smooth procurement processes to support the rapid progress of development and operations teams.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this full-time position in Riyadh should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in procurement or a related field. A proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost control, particularly within the KSA market and related to FF&E, facilities, and operational supplies, is essential.
