The Role of Product Designer

Almosafer is seeking a Product Designer to join its team in Riyadh, focusing on the Digital Consumer Travel experience. This full-time role involves shaping how customers book and manage various travel products, including flights, stays, and activities. The Product Designer will work within a cross-functional team to transform problems and opportunities into meaningful and impactful experiences, requiring a deep understanding of customer needs, business objectives, market trends, and systems knowledge. The role requires 3-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points to define opportunities and problem statements that inform team work.
• Lead and support discovery activities such as user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to uncover customer needs and validate opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other designers to address customer problems and deliver solutions across web and mobile platforms.
• Consider business needs, technical constraints, data, and platform requirements to produce impactful and valuable solutions.
• Translate opportunities into intuitive and effective experiences that deliver customer and business value.
• Rapidly produce concepts and prototypes, assessing when further ideation, testing, or changes in direction are needed.
• Run experiments frequently to validate assumptions and optimize solutions.
