About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Product Line Manager Automation to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves implementing business strategies for effective product management, fostering cross-functional collaboration to promote offerings, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The manager will work to achieve synergy across Alfanar units for strategic market development and provide strategic direction through continuous analysis of market trends, disruptions, and competition.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and capture customer needs, defining new offer scope and specifications aligned with market needs and company strategy.
• Participate in customer seminars, meetings, workshops, and events to promote offers.
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
• Establish and grow relationships with strategic partners.
• Participate in market research, validation, and analysis to identify new market opportunities for new and existing product lines.
• Conduct competitive analysis of technical & commercial offers and identify needs for offer enhancement to maintain competitiveness and monitor market price trends.
• Identify market trends, disruptions, and opportunities, driving initiatives to capitalize on them.
• Manage price positioning across all Go-To-Markets and geographies to capture offer value and ensure competitiveness.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure quick time-to-market and optimal resource utilization.
• Lead product optimization and standardization with R&D and design teams for process performance improvement and increased productivity.
• Drive product launches, working with public relations, executives, and other product management team members.
• Participate in the proposal response process, offer forecast, and plan accuracy, ensuring appropriate inventory and competitive lead times.
• Focus on excess & obsolete (E&O) trends and provide strategic actions to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.

Managerial Accountabilities

• Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers to create a robust second line of management.
• Recognize low performers and guide them to improve or manage their release.
• Ensure fair treatment of subordinates without discrimination, basing assessments on performance and results.

• Monitor plan performance, initiate actions to strengthen results, and take corrective actions.
• Provide periodic work progress reports and monitor/control budgets and expenses for optimum cost efficiency.
• Develop the organizational structure according to current and future requirements.
• Ensure availability and deployment of job descriptions for all roles.
• Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
• Be conversant with and able to navigate IT solutions relevant to the job and business, promoting their full use.

• Adapt to new techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
