The Role of Senior Product Owner

Nortal is seeking a Senior Product Owner to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves taking ownership of complex product delivery within the public sector, ensuring alignment across multiple product teams and a diverse range of stakeholders. The Senior Product Owner will inspire accountability within the team and guide product delivery efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for complex deliveries, continuously refining scope and actively managing scope creep.
• Utilize customer discovery, experimentation, and data analysis to develop key user journeys and define business requirements.
• Lead a cross-functional product delivery team within an agile environment and conduct workshops with customers and end-users.
• Establish alignment between multiple product teams and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Define product development metrics and identify methods to improve team performance.
• Identify potential product opportunities and communicate them to the Project or Product Manager for further exploration.
• Customize AI tools to enhance output quality and speed, create relevant workflows, and coordinate with other disciplines to integrate AI tooling consistently across team processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Deep experience in business and systems analysis.
• Proficiency in service design and user research methods.
• Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• A clear understanding of effective product delivery and the ability to guide a team towards it.
