The Product Specialist Role
Imdad is seeking a Product Specialist Medical Devices Saudi National to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to the company's sales and customer satisfaction efforts. The Product Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling the company's medical products to both new and existing customers. The role also encompasses performing crucial after-sales support functions, including conducting in-service training, following up on collections, and maintaining strong, enduring customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform consultative sales methods with prospecting clients to identify or create needs for Imdad products.
- Continuously update all customers on company product modifications, changes, and enhancements.
- Schedule appointments and meet existing and new customers to promote Imdad's products and identify new opportunities.
- Generate and develop new client business accounts.
- Conduct professional demonstrations or presentations of company products or services on customer sites.
- Apply successful negotiation and sales closure techniques.
- Provide adequate information about new prospects and clients, including ownership, working physicians, relevant client equipment, and status.
- Update customer databases with proper contact details, email, and contact numbers.
- Submit weekly sales and marketing reports in a timely manner.
- Assist in following up on accounts receivables for assigned sales accounts.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships with key decision-makers, doctors, and key customer personnel, continuously working to enhance these relations.
- Effectively use company sales aids and marketing data to secure deals.
- Effectively attend conferences and workshops.
- Perform professional in-service training for customer end-users on systems application.
- Maintain market awareness, including competitor activities/events and pricing changes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in sales or product promotion, preferably within the medical devices sector.
- Possession of a KSA Driving License and access to a personal car is mandatory for this role.
Essential Skills and Attributes
Success in this role requires strong capabilities in consultative sales, effective negotiation, and the ability to close deals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining robust customer relationships. Furthermore, a proactive approach to market awareness, including competitor activities and pricing, is crucial. The ability to conduct professional presentations and provide in-service training is also essential.
