The Role: Product Specialist Neuroscience

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Product Specialist Neuroscience for a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves representing Johnson & Johnson to healthcare professionals (HCPs) to ensure the appropriate, compliant, and evidence-based use of Neuroscience products. The Product Specialist is responsible for driving patient access, communicating product value, and enhancing territory performance by promoting registered products within approved indications and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize patient share through a strong understanding of patient pathways and by ensuring all sales processes align with Johnson & Johnson compliance, quality standards, and local regulations.
  • Achieve territory sales and market share targets.
  • Identify short- and long-term business opportunities in collaboration with the Market Access team and Business Unit strategy.
  • Engage HCPs using a multichannel approach, including face-to-face visits, email, phone calls, and presentations, in alignment with Business Unit strategy.
  • Provide accurate and timely call feedback and documentation of engagements.
  • Conduct comprehensive account mapping, covering listing processes, logistics, contracting, stakeholder mapping, and decision-making pathways.
  • Build long-term relationships with key account stakeholders, including pharmacy directors, procurement teams, tender managers, and hospital administration.
  • Monitor consumption, stock levels, tenders, and ordering mechanisms to ensure product availability.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of disease areas, the competitive landscape, and relevant products.
  • Promote Johnson & Johnson's image as a scientific and digital innovator through scientific meetings and digital promotional activities.
  • Adhere to all Johnson & Johnson policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), local regulations, Healthcare Business Compliance (HCBI), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and pharmacovigilance requirements.
  • Ensure accurate CRM use, sample accountability, database updates, and continuous improvement of qualitative Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Follow global fleet safety standards and local traffic laws.

Performance Measures

Performance in this role will be measured by the achievement of territory sales and market share targets. Fulfillment of Business Unit-aligned KPIs and Customer Interaction Excellence requirements is also essential. The role requires demonstrated discipline, integrity, leadership behaviors, and conduct consistent with the Johnson & Johnson Credo.

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • A Pharmacy graduate is required.
  • Experience: 0-1 years.
  • Strong adherence to Credo values and Johnson & Johnson leadership imperatives.
  • High awareness of all business factors affecting the territory and proactive reporting of any risks.
  • Strong analytical thinking, urgency, discipline, and the ability to act on business opportunities.

  • Ability to achieve expected performance in scientific quizzes and training assignments.
