About the Role

TalentHUB is seeking a skilled Pastry & Chocolate Production Chef for a leading Saudi sweets and bakery brand. This brand operates a high-volume production kitchen that serves a growing multi-branch retail network. The role is based in Riyadh and is a full-time position.

Role Context and Responsibilities

This position requires a Production Chef with direct experience managing professional pastry and chocolate operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of chocolate tempering, praline and bonbon creation, and the technical aspects of pastry production, ensuring consistent taste and appearance across all batches. You will be responsible for the entire production line, from daily output and recipe execution to final product quality.

  • Oversee the complete pastry and chocolate production line, including daily output, recipe adherence, and product consistency.
  • Lead and develop the production team through task delegation, technical training, and performance management.
  • Manage all aspects of chocolate production, from tempering and fillings to molding, packaging, and storage.
  • Develop new pastry and chocolate products that align with brand identity and market trends.
  • Plan daily production volumes based on sales forecasts and branch orders, focusing on waste reduction.
  • Enforce HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards throughout the production floor.
  • Manage raw material inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee ordering cycles.
  • Ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and calibration of production equipment.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance teams on cost control, recipe costing, and production efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on production experience in professional pastry and chocolate.
  • Demonstrated expertise in chocolate tempering, praline and bonbon production, and decorative finishing.
  • Advanced experience with mousse, tart, cake, and entremet production at commercial volumes.
  • Proven experience leading a production team in a high-volume bakery, patisserie, or sweets brand.
  • Working knowledge of HACCP, food safety standards, and relevant Saudi food regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of recipe costing, yield management, and waste control principles.
  • Hands-on familiarity with commercial pastry and chocolate production equipment.
  • A formal culinary or pastry certification (*, Le Cordon Bleu, Valrhona, Callebaut Academy, or equivalent) is a significant advantage.
  • Working knowledge of English is required for vendor and brand communication. Arabic language skills are a strong advantage for team interaction.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The role operates within a high-volume production kitchen environment.
