About the Role

Almarai is seeking a Programming Analyst to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves designing, developing, implementing, and supporting business applications and workflow automation solutions. The primary focus will be on utilizing Microsoft Power Platform technologies to enhance business efficiency, productivity, and digital transformation initiatives within the organization.

Role Overview

The Programming Analyst will play a key role in leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform to create robust solutions that streamline business processes. This position requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field, capable of contributing to the full lifecycle of application development and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power Apps Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
  • Design and build automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • Create and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, and security roles.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SQL Server, SAP, Oracle, and other enterprise systems.
  • Develop approvals, notifications, document management, and business process automation solutions.
  • Troubleshoot application and workflow issues and provide production support.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing support.
  • Participate in solution design, requirements gathering, and technical documentation.
  • Implement security, governance, and best practices following organizational standards.
  • Support application deployments using Power Platform ALM and DevOps processes.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 2-5 years of experience in a relevant programming or analyst role.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining Power Apps Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
  • Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with Dataverse, including table management, relationships, business rules, and security.
  • Ability to integrate Power Platform solutions with various enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of application lifecycle management (ALM) and DevOps processes within the Power Platform.

Competencies

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a methodical approach to work.
  • Project development skills, including the ability to build and test applications throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
