Larsen & Toubro is seeking a dedicated professional for the Project Controls role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires an individual with 5-10 years of experience in relevant mechanical project execution and control functions within the industry.

Role Overview

The Project Controls professional will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of mechanical works within projects, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards. This role involves significant site coordination, resource management, and comprehensive documentation to support efficient project delivery and successful handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of mechanical works, encompassing equipment erection, piping, structural fabrication, welding, hydro testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure that all execution activities are conducted strictly in accordance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and approved method statements.
• Supervise and coordinate effectively with mechanical engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to achieve daily operational targets and project milestones.
• Plan and monitor the utilization of project resources, including manpower, materials, and tools, to ensure efficient and effective site operations.
• Participate in meetings and walkthroughs with clients and consultants, ensuring timely resolution and closure of any observations or issues raised.
• Provide essential support to testing and commissioning teams during the final handover phases of projects.
• Implement and maintain robust Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and quality standards throughout all project execution activities.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including inspection reports, weld logs, test packs, and daily progress reports.
• Coordinate proactively with planning, stores, and procurement departments to ensure timely material availability and work front readiness.
• Review fabrication and erection drawings, and resolve technical or site-related issues with appropriate support from the engineering team.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in leading or managing mechanical works execution, with a focus on project controls.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise teams, coordinate with various stakeholders, and manage site operations effectively.
• Strong understanding of mechanical fabrication, erection, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Proficiency in maintaining project documentation and ensuring adherence to HSE and quality standards.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role primarily involves working on-site to lead and oversee mechanical project execution activities.
