Tahaluf is a joint venture between Informa PLC, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP), and the Events Investment Fund (EIF). It operates as the largest B2B live and on-demand events organiser in Saudi Arabia. Tahaluf works with government and non-government organisations across Saudi Arabia’s B2B and B2C large-scale events sector, including events such as LEAP, Cityscape, Black Hat MEA, and CPHI Middle East.

Role Overview

Tahaluf is seeking a Project Manager Activations to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing the delivery of events and ensuring smooth project execution. The Project Manager will contribute to the events industry by overseeing various aspects of event delivery, from inter-departmental coordination to post-event evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project management systems, procedures, and processes to ensure inter-departmental timelines and deadlines are met.
• Evaluate and align processes to improve overall delivery and approval workflows.
• Conduct continuous risk assessments, including milestone alignment, resourcing considerations, and contingency planning.
• Manage stakeholder interactions across internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear communication and reporting to all stakeholders, including VIPs and senior stakeholders.
• Manage custom event delivery in collaboration with the Special Projects team, Marketing Manager, and Event Manager.
• Direct onsite staff and team members to ensure successful event delivery and oversee non-department-tied deliverables such as badging and merchandise rollout.
• Support marketing, programming, and operations elements of event delivery, acting as the point of contact for custom projects.
• Manage the collation of speakers’ assets from confirmation to final delivery of presentations and content live at the event.
• Ensure smooth execution of event production and logistics.
• Manage speaker logistics leading up to the event, where necessary.
• Track post-event milestones and conduct evaluations to assess success metrics and gather feedback.
• Prepare final reports summarizing achievements, lessons learned, and recommendations for future events.
• Manage minutes and tasks reporting, tracking, and monitoring.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in project management, with a background in fast-paced environments. Experience in specific event types is beneficial.

• Experience with Esports or live gaming events.
• Experience working on defence and/or aviation events.
• Experience managing hackathons, CTF, or similar competitions.

An international relocation package is available for eligible candidates, covering a paid flight to Riyadh for the employee and family (up to three children), 60 days of accommodation or a serviced apartment, or a one-off payment of SAR 5,000. Reimbursement of shipping goods/excess baggage costs up to SAR 2,500 is also provided, along with an individual paid flight home and an end-of-service gratuity payment upon leaving the company.

A local relocation package is available for eligible candidates, including a paid flight to Riyadh for the individual and family (up to three children), 30 days of accommodation or a serviced apartment, or a one-off payment of SAR 5,000. Reimbursement of shipping goods/excess baggage costs up to SAR 2,500 is also included.
