About the Role

TELUS Digital is seeking a Project Coordinator for Vehicle Testing Operations to join a fast-paced vehicle testing team. This contract role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supports innovative automotive and mapping technology operations across major markets in the Middle East. The Project Coordinator will serve as the primary operational point of contact between the client, Drivers, and the internal project management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily testing activities, including driver orientations and operational training.
• Manage route assignments and monitor driving progress to ensure execution according to client requirements and operational procedures.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client coordination and operational concerns, attending client meetings and project briefings.
• Communicate project requirements, operational updates, and performance expectations to Drivers.
• Conduct Driver onboarding, orientation, and operational training, ensuring understanding of routes, schedules, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Monitor Driver attendance, punctuality, performance, and adherence to schedules.
• Prepare and distribute daily route assignments, tracking driving distance, hours, and task completion.
• Oversee daily vehicle testing operations, coordinating with Drivers, clients, and operational teams.
• Ensure completion and submission of daily operational reports, route logs, and attendance records.
• Identify operational bottlenecks, recommend process improvements, and escalate incidents or safety concerns promptly.
• Ensure Drivers comply with traffic regulations, company policies, client requirements, and safety procedures.
• Review daily reports and prepare regular operational updates and performance reports for clients and management.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in project coordination or field operations.
• Strong organizational and proactive management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and field operations effectively.
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and monitoring skills.
• Ability to manage multiple Drivers and ensure smooth execution of daily activities.

Work Environment and Travel

This role requires flexibility to work various schedules, including evenings, overnight shifts, and weekends, based on project demands. The Project Coordinator must be willing to travel or be deployed within Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates as required to support vehicle testing operations.
