Project Manager Fire Protection Systems

About the Role

Guarantee Business Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Fire Protection Systems to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves planning, managing, executing, and delivering fire protection projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to safety, timelines, budget, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of fire protection system projects, from planning to final handover.
• Review project scope, specifications, drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), contracts, and technical requirements.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, manpower, material requirements, and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Supervise the installation and execution of fire protection systems, including other fire and life safety systems.
• Ensure all installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate technical submittals, material approvals, shop drawings, method statements, inspection requests, and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions for delays, technical issues, and resource constraints.
• Lead project engineers, supervisors, technicians, and other project personnel.
• Ensure proper manpower planning and efficient utilization of project resources.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspection, and final handover of fire protection systems.
• Attend technical and progress meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and additional works.
• Review and approve project-related technical and commercial documents within assigned authority.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and company safety procedures.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Maintain proper project records, progress reports, and documentation.
• Ensure timely completion of punch-list items and project closeout activities.
• Support business development and estimation teams by providing technical and project-related input when required.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain professional relationships with clients and consultants.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in fire protection systems.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles.
• Demonstrated experience in engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Proven experience in client coordination for project delivery.
• Experience managing multiple fire protection projects simultaneously.
• Ability to supervise project teams and coordinate with consultants and contractors effectively.
