Project Manager Highways and Bridges

About the Role

Michael Page is seeking a Project Manager Highways and Bridges to oversee the delivery of major transportation and civil infrastructure projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a professional with extensive experience in roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels, focusing on end-to-end project delivery and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Director in project execution and management.
• Advise on design sufficiency and information, identifying any outstanding or conflicting design issues.
• Liaise with discipline managers and site team leaders to ensure effective project communication.
• Develop and implement procedures for planning, managing, supervising construction works, and controlling project costs.
• Review and approve technical documents submitted to the Client by contractors.
• Monitor overall progress and resource utilization, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed standards and stakeholder requirements at each stage.
• Monitor overall project stakeholder relationships and adjust engagement strategies and plans.
• Apply change control and configuration management processes.
• Report on project progress through highlight reports and end-stage assessments.
• Maintain awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact.
• Contribute to the resolution of technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Take a proactive role in establishing, assessing, and evaluating project management processes, sharing knowledge, identifying opportunities, and providing advice to improve processes and procedures.
• Apply analytical, project management, and technical writing skills at a task level.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on major transportation and civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading projects involving roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and manage stakeholders effectively.
• Proven track record in overseeing end-to-end project delivery.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves working within an internationally recognized organization. The position is full-time and requires active engagement with project and site teams.
