About the Role

WSP Middle East is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of major road, transport infrastructure, and utility projects in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience, specifically managing projects from the consultancy or client representative side. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and project delivery activities across complex infrastructure programs within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of road, transport infrastructure, and utility projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, authorities, and project stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality objectives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Oversee consultant performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while implementing effective corrective actions.
• Facilitate engagement with relevant government authorities and utility providers.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with local regulations, standards, and client requirements.
• Support strategic decision-making through effective project governance and stakeholder management.

Required Experience and Background

Candidates must possess a strong background in managing projects from the consultancy or client representative side, with a minimum of 10 years of experience. Direct experience in roads, highways, transportation networks, utilities, and related infrastructure projects is essential. Candidates with predominantly building, architectural, contractor execution, or design-focused backgrounds will not be considered for this role.

Candidate Profile

• Strong consultancy background rather than contractor-led delivery.
• Proven experience managing transportation, roads, highways, utility corridors, and infrastructure programs.
• Demonstrated success in client-facing project leadership roles.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian infrastructure projects and regulatory environments.
• Ability to lead multiple stakeholders while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
