The Role of Project Manager

Egis is seeking a Project Manager to oversee design initiatives and ensure successful project delivery. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves leading projects from initial planning through execution, monitoring, and closure, while maintaining quality and adherence to budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and clarify project scope, establish timelines, and set budgets.
• Facilitate meetings and presentations with clients and team members.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure objectives are met.
• Manage and motivate design teams, assign tasks, and provide guidance.
• Keep stakeholders informed on project progress, manage expectations, and address concerns effectively.
• Coordinate project schedules, resources, and budgets for design initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee the quality of design deliverables and ensure they meet established standards.
• Identify potential risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies.
• Track project expenses and ensure strict adherence to budget guidelines.

Project and Cost Management Focus

• Implement strategies to manage and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed cost forecasts and budget reports, analyzing variances and identifying trends to support financial decision-making.
• Implement cost control measures and monitor project expenditures, addressing any issues that could lead to budget overruns.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between design teams, marketing, product development, and external agencies to streamline workflows and resolve potential roadblocks.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, utilizing project management software to track progress effectively.
• Manage scope changes and potential risks throughout the design project lifecycle, implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and upcoming activities.
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements for future design initiatives and team efficiency.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in project management. Experience in undertaking cost and commercial management as part of integrated, multi-organization, collaborative teams is preferred for this role.
