About the Role
Musanadah Facilities Management is seeking a dedicated Purchaser to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to managing the acquisition of goods and services, ensuring that all procurement activities support the company's operational needs efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Purchaser is to oversee the entire purchasing process for goods and services. This includes maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality merchandise on time, directly contributing to operational continuity and quality standards.
Operational Accountabilities
The role involves a range of operational duties to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement. Specific accountabilities include:
- Researching potential vendors to procure necessary equipment, tools, and supplies, focusing on securing the best quality and price.
- Comparing and evaluating offers from various suppliers based on prices, terms, delivery schedules, supplier performance, product quality, and departmental approvals.
- Negotiating contract terms, shipping agreements, and pricing to ensure all sourcing of items is conducted cost-effectively and efficiently.
- Issuing purchase orders (POs) and diligently tracking orders to guarantee timely delivery.
- Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and promptly reporting any issues or discrepancies.
Data Management and Reporting
Accurate data management and comprehensive reporting are essential functions of this role. The Purchaser will be responsible for:
- Entering all order details, including vendors, quantities, and prices, into internal databases.
- Maintaining updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
- Preparing detailed reports on purchases, including comprehensive cost analyses.
- Monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed to ensure continuous supply.
Required Experience
Candidates applying for the Purchaser position should have:
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
