QA/QC Engineer Architecture

About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking a QA/QC Engineer - Architecture to join their team in the Riyadh Region, specifically in Riyadh. This full-time role is essential for ensuring that all architectural work and projects are delivered according to established good work practices and project specifications, within defined time limits, and to client expectations. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing international quality standards and procedures across all construction activities.

Role Context and Objectives

The QA/QC Engineer will play a key role in maintaining high-quality standards throughout construction projects. This involves assisting in the development of the Project Quality Management System by establishing necessary procedures, plans, and work instructions. The objective is to ensure consistent adherence to quality protocols and specifications from project inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project QA/QC Manager or Senior QA/QC Engineer in implementing the quality management system on site, in line with the approved Project Quality Plan and IMS procedures.
• Prepare and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIR) for each construction activity to the consultant.
• Verify all incoming materials against project specifications and approved material submittals.
• Monitor WIRs and test reports, providing status updates to the Quality Manager and site team.
• Establish and monitor QA/QC plans, method statements, and test plans both before and during the project execution phase.
• Ensure that document control procedures are properly implemented and that approved consultant documents are distributed through the established document control system.
• Review inspection and test plans, ensuring that method statements and test plans are submitted to the consultant as per the approved ITP.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• A strong understanding of international quality standards and their application in construction is required.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, within the Riyadh Region. The role involves working on-site to oversee and manage quality assurance and quality control processes for architectural projects.
