About UCC Holding and the Role

UCC Holding is seeking a QA/QC Engineer Fresh Graduate to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is tailored for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on ensuring project quality and adherence to established standards within the construction industry.

Role Purpose and Context

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all work and projects are executed based on sound work practices and specific project requirements. This role guarantees the completion of work within given time limits, achieving a quality that meets or exceeds client expectations through the implementation of international quality standards and procedures across all construction activities. The position also involves assisting in the development of the Project Quality Management System by establishing necessary procedures, plans, and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project QA/QC Manager or Sr. QA/QC Engineer in implementing the quality management system at the site, in accordance with the approved Project Quality Plan and IMS Procedures.
  • Prepare and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIR) for each construction activity to the consultant, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all on-site construction activities.
  • Check all incoming materials to verify compliance with project specifications and approved material submittals.
  • Monitor the status of Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and test reports, providing updates to the Quality Manager and site team.
  • Establish and monitor control of QA/QC Plans, Method of Statements, and Test Plans before project commencement, and ensure their implementation during the project to meet quality requirements and client expectations.
  • Ensure that document control procedures are effectively implemented and all approved documents from the consultant are distributed through the designated document control system.
  • Review the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), if available, and confirm that all method statements and test plans are submitted to the consultant as per the approved ITP plan.

Qualifications and Experience

This position is ideal for fresh graduates with 0-1 years of experience. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles, demonstrating a readiness to apply and develop their skills within a dynamic construction environment.
