About the Role

CSCEC Steel Industries is seeking a qualified QA/QC Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is focused on quality assurance and quality control for steel structure projects. The role requires a professional with a strong understanding of quality management systems and relevant industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all steel structure fabrication and erection activities meet established quality standards. This includes:

• Implementing and managing quality control processes throughout project lifecycles.
• Conducting inspections related to welding, coating, and structural steel quality.
• Reviewing and managing quality documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Material Submittals, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
• Coordinating with consultants, clients, and third-party inspection agencies to ensure compliance.
• Maintaining a strong understanding of Saudi quality regulations and international standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control.
• Experience working with Main Contractors or Steel Structure Contractors in Saudi Arabia is essential.
• Proven experience in steel structure fabrication and erection projects.
• Familiarity with quality documentation and control procedures.
• Experience in coordinating with external stakeholders such as consultants and third-party inspectors.

Knowledge of Standards and Regulations

A comprehensive understanding of the following quality regulations and standards is required:

• Saudi Building Code (SBC)
• Royal Commission Standards (RC)
• ARAMCO, SEC, and SWCC quality requirements
• ISO 9001 quality management system

Skills and Attributes

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong technical skills and effective communication abilities:

• Proficiency in welding inspection, coating inspection, and structural steel quality control.
• Strong knowledge of quality documentation management.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
• The ability to work effectively with various project stakeholders.
