About the Role

IC İçtaş İnşaat, a global company with over 50 years of experience in diverse projects, is seeking a seasoned QA/QC Manager for its road and infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with a strong background in quality management within large-scale construction environments.

Role Overview

The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive quality management systems. This role is critical in ensuring that all construction activities adhere to national and international standards, contributing to the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. The position is based in Riyadh and requires a commitment to maintaining high-quality outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans for road and bridge projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor construction processes, identify non-conformities, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to establish quality benchmarks and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance certificates.
• Train and mentor site personnel on quality standards and best practices to foster a culture of quality awareness.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure materials and workmanship meet specified quality requirements, conducting necessary inspections.
• Review project plans and specifications to identify potential quality issues early and provide recommendations for design enhancements.
• Lead root cause analysis for quality failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters in project meetings.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Over 20 years of experience in quality management within large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Quality Manager, overseeing QA/QC systems and teams on complex construction projects.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Arabic proficiency is considered a plus.
