This is an opportunity for a Senior QA / QC Manager to contribute to a significant program in Saudi Arabia.

Project Context

The role is situated within one of the largest programs in Saudi Arabia, a major mixed-use development that includes sports facilities, entertainment, and arts complexes, along with all associated infrastructure. Mace serves as one of the delivery partners, requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the development and implementation of the project quality management strategy.
• Review design documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and other project requirements, identifying mitigation of quality risks.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability workshops, and risk assessments.
• Ensure quality requirements are embedded into procurement strategies, methodologies, sequencing, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Act as the primary QA/QC oversight lead during site mobilization and construction.
• Undertake regular site inspections, audits, and surveillance activities to monitor compliance.
• Monitor installation quality across all disciplines (CSA, MEP, fit-out).
• Identify quality issues, non-compliance, and trends, ensuring timely correction and escalation.
• Provide independent monitoring of Contractor QA/QC systems and processes.
• Provide clear and accurate weekly and monthly quality reports to project leadership.
• Highlight key risks, recurring issues, and improvement areas.
• Promote a collaborative and solutions-focused approach to quality management.
• Ensure alignment between design intent and site delivery standards.
• Ensure smooth progress of Testing and Commissioning and the handover stage.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Professional quality certification (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in QA/QC roles on major construction projects.
• Proven experience across Design and Build, preconstruction, and construction phases on commercial, mixed-use, or large-scale development projects.
• Experience within delivery partner / PMC environments is preferred.
• Ability to meet necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and possess relevant work experience on high-value projects/programs for a project management consultancy business, as required for immigration and client approval.

This is a full-time position, integral to the successful delivery of a large-scale development project in Saudi Arabia. The role requires a commitment to maintaining high quality standards across all project phases.
