About the Role

Talents Sea is seeking a QC Electrical Engineer specializing in High Voltage (HV) Underground Cable (UGC) Projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves implementing and monitoring quality control activities for HV/Extra High Voltage (EHV) UGC projects. The role ensures all electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan and ITPs for HV/EHV UGC projects.
• Conduct inspections for HV/EHV cable laying, pulling, jointing, termination, bonding, and earthing.
• Prepare, coordinate, and process Inspection Requests (IRs) with SEC representatives and consultants.
• Inspect cable drums, accessories, joints, terminations, link boxes, and sheath bonding systems upon site delivery.
• Monitor bending radius, pulling tension, and cable spacing during installation.
• Coordinate, witness, and review electrical testing and commissioning activities for HV cables and associated equipment.
• Verify adherence to SEC requirements and technical standards during testing and commissioning.
• Ensure all electrical works meet SEC specifications.
• Handle Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Manage root-cause analysis for non-conformances and assist in compiling the final Quality Turnover Dossier.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical QA/QC.
• Proven experience in HV/EHV Underground Cable projects is required.
• Valid Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) approval as a QC Electrical Engineer is mandatory. Candidates without SEC approval will not be considered.

Experience Level

This role requires 5-10 years of experience, specifically within electrical QA/QC and HV/EHV Underground Cable projects.
