About the Role
QNB Group is seeking a Vice President Corporate Relationship Management to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio comprising existing and potential senior/large corporate customers. The role focuses on meeting assigned financial targets within the country location and developing profitable banking relationships for business customers within their geographic territory or industry/customer portfolio. The Vice President acts as the primary resource for extending the full range of bank products and services, including credit, deposit, international transactions, and specialized services.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a major role in implementing strategies and plans to achieve all set volume, revenue, and profit targets for the Corporate Banking function.
- Consistently generate business ideas to boost revenues and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for performance monitoring.
- Observe and promote cost consciousness, efficiency, and enhanced productivity to minimize costs and optimize benefits for the bank.
- Act within delegated powers and adhere to QNB policies, including delegating authority to respective staff and monitoring its exercise.
Customer Relationship Management & Business Development
- Develop and manage potential corporate customers and an assigned portfolio of existing customers to meet financial and non-financial targets, in compliance with QNB credit policies.
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with all related functions/units and provide timely and accurate information to relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of Relationship Managers (RMs) and Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs), ensuring appropriate direction, training, and support.
- Drive business development and origination, as well as credit recommendations for local and regional corporations.
- Assist customers with all their queries on the Bank’s products and seek solutions to their requests, maintaining activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Stress and document periodic customer calls to capture ongoing businesses and encourage reliance on QNB, enhancing utilization of lines.
Credit, Compliance, and Risk Management
- Prepare comprehensive credit proposals for new/prospect customers and timely credit reviews for existing portfolios, addressing all relevant risk factors and market developments.
- Identify and timely report on all negative events and early signals on potential problematic accounts/relationships.
- Obtain all requisite facility and account documentation to ensure each customer's file is current with valid legal documentation to secure/protect the bank's interests.
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements, including Group Compliance Policies and Procedures (AML & CTF, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Sanctions Policy, Data Protection Policy, Fraud Control Policy, Whistle Blowing Policy, Conflict of Interest and Insider Dealing Policy).
- Understand and effectively perform the role under the Three Lines of Defence principle to identify, measure, monitor, manage, and report risks.
- Support the framework of RCSA, KRI, Incident reporting, and remediation, as appropriate, in accordance with Operational Risk Management requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in corporate relationship management or a related field.
- Good knowledge of the banking and commercial environment of Saudi Arabia.
- Ability to solve problems and adopt a hands-on role to meet financial targets.
- Computer literate, able to compose correspondence and reports using bank standard applications.

- Uphold high professional standards to maintain QNB's reputation and strengthen its market leadership position.
